Problem with Internal Speakers Macbook White

I am not getting any sound out of my internal speakers.

I've tried going into Applications, Utilities, Audio Midi Settings and on the left side it says "Output Not Supported".

When I plug in headphones I can hear sound fine, but when I want to listen out of built in internal speakers, nothing comes out. When I go to:

System Preferences -> Sound, I just see "Output Not Supported"

There used to be a red LED that sometimes lit up, but it has gone away now.

I hope somebody can help me out, I really hope its not a hardware failure.

That sounds like a hardware failure--bad audio out port on the logic board.
