Problem with iPad 2?

I just bought an iPad 2 today 16gb wifi version. When I go into the app store to either update or download some apps nothing seems to happen. All that happens is when I click download the app store closes and leaves me at the homepage. I then installed some apps from iTunes but they need some updates so when I tried to update from the iPad same thing happens. I made a new account as well but still can't download any apps. Anyone know what I should do???

This is weird, the same thing just happened to me as well a few minutes back, I came here to post a new thread to find solution but read your post. So I though I would post it here.

Exact same thing as OP mentioned.

Any solution?

Why would this have anything to do with iOS 5.0. Could just as easily be a problem on Apples end.
