Argh I'm so annoyed. Got really excited about being able to use my iPhone 4 tonight considering I waited in for the whole day for it!

Got my Micro sim from Vodafone, put it in - It says 'No sim card installed' wth?

I called Vodafone, they said it needed to be activated (the sim card - move my stuff over from my old sim to the micro sim - which should of taken a hour) 3 hours later i'm still sat here with the same message on my iPhone 4 'No sim card installed'.

Anyone got any ideas what I can do?

Vodafones helpline is closed til tomorrow and i'm already upset that my phones not even working.

If the SIM weren't activated it would more than likely say 'No Service'

The fact it says 'No SIM card installed' means it hasn't detected the SIM card. Try re-inserting it. Clean the gold contact as well.

If that doesn't work you might need a new SIM

OMG! I just wiped the Micro Sim and now it doesn't say no sim installed anymore, its showing a signal bar (which is really weak).

Genius! Thankyou! Going to connect it to iTunes now.

EDIT: It now says 'No service' =/

Just downloading the latest version of iTunes..
