Problem with iPhoto 6 and Desktop Backgrounds

For as long as I've had my mac, I had my desktop image set to change every 15 minutes, and pull the images from an iPhoto album. Then I installed iPhoto 6. Now, when I select an album in the Desktop preferences.. the "Change Picture" option is disabled, and is so for all iPhoto albums and the Library. However, if I pick a folder the option is again enabled and everything is fine. Anyone else experiencing this?
