Problem with iTunes download

Dear Members,
I own an iPhone 4 and have been trying to download the latest software thru iTunes but connection is so slow that i just cannot download and moreso there is no RESUME when it breaks which is almost always. Please is it possible for you to send me the file thru email?
2. Which is the best internet Download manager for my MacBook Pro and can i use it to download the latest iPhone software and install thru iTunes?

I use Firefox, it took me three tries to get it and it was really slow for me as well.

I have started download using firefox and Downthem all but i wonder whether this download manager has resume capabilities?

Safari can resume downloads with no issues, I didn't know firefox couldn't.

Safari can resume downloads with no issues, I didn't know firefox couldn't.

With Safari i downloaded more than 350MB but for an unknown reason it breaks twice and I cannot resume. I had to start from the beginning.
