Problem with iTunes

For some unknown reason, iTunes will not allow me to manually add artwork to "the bends" by Radiohead. I ripped this album from my personal cd, so it is legit. As you can see below the artwork tab is "grayed out" Any ideas?

Rip in Apple Lossless, I'm not sure if iTunes supports album art in WAV files.

Good call.. I converted them to apple lossless and artwork now works.
