Never Ender
Okay I have no clue what happened, I have been using the line-in on my MBP to record with my guitar/bass for about 3 years. I use Logic Express 9 to record. All of a sudden, the line-in no longer works and I get this awful clicking sound the entire time. What's wrong?

Does your internal Mic still work and does your head phones still put out audio.

Sounds like a Audio card/Logic Board error. :(

The internal mic works. My headphone jack works. If this Line-in really is broken I am going to be really pissed, my warranty just ended last month.

I already got one...its much easier to just plug right into the computer, its so simple. Well...awesome. Guess I will wait for the GPU to fail again to get a new LB.

I agree; replacing the LB just for the audio in is a waste.

Also it is a lot easier just to plug and go and not look for additional items!
