Problem with Lion

There is a problem with lion.

Try this: open TextEdit and type "I am John Locke ". Now save the file (but don't close the file). Next type "I am an stupid". You should now have "I am John Locke. I am an stupid". Now without saving the file. Quit TextEdit .

The next time you open TextEdit , John Locke is still stupid.

Next quit TextEdit without saving. Then on the Finder, find the file and double click it to open it. Guess what? John Locke is still stupid.

Huh? Even though you NEVER saved the file AFTER you type "I am an stupid", it always says that. Try it yourself.
