problem with Mac Mail - mailboxes?

I keep trying to add this account - it's a google mail account (although that's not part of the address), and I have the name and the password.

I use "add account" in Apple MAIL - and I go through the steps, but then it tells me that the account it's already active.

However, I don't see an inbox for this account, and I can't find any of the eMails that I know are in there.

Can anybody suggest anything?

PS: oh wait! I figured it out! I have to go into settings and switch the account from "inactive" to "active" - that seems to work. yes!

Glad you worked it out. BUT, I strongly suggest you delete your email address from the post.
