Problem With Macbook Pro 2.4 Video

I have a 2.4GHz Macbook Pro with a 256MB M8600GT. Whenever I watch video on the computer, every few minutes the video will freeze for a few second, the audio will skip, and then the video will catch back up and be fine again. When the video catches back up the image is all scrambled. It's not a gigantic deal cause it's only a few seconds every few minutes but it is starting to get annoying. I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this problem or knows how to fix it. Thanks
