I’m having a bit of a trouble figuring out problem with my iPhone 8 Plus Mail app. More specifically there is no sound when new mail arrives. Otherwise the app works fine — I get banners and red notification marker as usual . I wonder if this is a common iOS issue since this behavior repeats itself on my 2017 iPad Pro. I’m running latest iOS.
I’ve changed all settings so that there should be sound when getting mail. While doing this I captured a behavior in notification settings that doesn’t appear to be normal for the mail app.
