Problem with Mail

I don't know why, but my Mac account no longer displays my emails.

I have 3 other accounts ( AOL, another AOL email, Virgin email ) and they display all received
email perfectly, but my Mac viewer window only shows unread mail......

If I click only 'Inbox' icon, then all my received mail is displayed from all my accounts - including
my .Mac account, so the emails are not lost, just not displayed in my .Mac viewer window.

Cant see the answer in Mail preferences.

Any ideas??

is there a way to re-install Mail? Without loosing all your emails?

Likely you have the filter button

activated. Your screenshot is cropped, so it is not shown. But it is located top-right in the mail-list.

Cheers - Although I could not find a filter button , I found it in a drop down menu - turned it off, and alls well again.
