The video below this text speaks for itself. Connected my MBP to every HDMI port, bought a new mini display-hdmi converter, tried different hdmi cables. Samsung even switched the motherboard. Still, the problems are there.

The thing is, I don't experience these problems with my friends PC, or my own PS3. Any thoughts? Could it be the minidisplay port thats fried? I tried to connect my MBP to my parents Samsung, a similar but better model, and it worked perfectly fine.

It seems like the only thing not working is putting my MBP and TV together, but all parts work individually...

Thanks!

You mean the flickering? My only guess would berth you're pushing a resolution that you tv can't support. Doubtful. Or perhaps a refresh rate that it can't.

Mine works just fine with my new 75" Samsung D9500 Smart TV.

Fortunately I have a close personal friend in Korea that facilitated the purchase & delivery, since they're not available in the US yet.

In retrospect it also works well with the old 60" Samsung I have in another room, I'm not sure why yours doesn't.

Perhaps someone will come along with some help for you.

Good Luck
