Problem with MTS format movie

Hi,

I recently took my friend's camcorder to a trip. I am having a problem now playing the MTS format file that i got from the camcorder. I have tried to use WMP, Realplayers, and VLS. However, I have no success. Can anyone please let me know what I can do to the MTS file to be able to watch it on my mac. Thanks
