Problem with Network Sharing through an access prohibited connection.

Ok so I'm trying to access Xbox Live on my college campus by hooking an Ethernet cable to my xbox from my macbook. Before it will connect however I have to log on through a browser prompt to get proper connection. After I connect to the network I turn on my network and test the connection but the xbox gives me a static IP error, I was wondering if anyone had any advice/solutions to getting an accurate IP and DNC server numbers for my access prhibited network so my xbox live can connect though my internet connection to my Xbox
