problem with new 1080p movies and iPad2

Hey I redownloaded a movie in the new 1080p format on iTunes but it won't let me sync the movie to my iPad 2. It gives me the error message that it cannot be transferred to this ipad. I thought the iPad2 can display 1080p movies?


EDIT
nevermind found out that ipad2 doesnt support 1080p content, ipad3 does ;/
