Purchased a new apple aluminum wired keyboard today from a local apple reseller, however the 'i' key is very temperamental, only working about once every five key pushes.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions, should i try a software update or something or can i try to clean out the key in any way.

Anyone had or heard of a similar problem???

Thanks

Ben

Pop it off and see if something is in there. If it is clean then return it.

How do i go about 'popping' off a key from the keyboard, as I don't want to damage it if I might have to return it.

Should I try and prise it off/up with soemthing or what???

Thanks!!

Yep just pry from one of the sides with something that won't scratch.
