Problem with Photos going from Maverick to El Capitan

I would still post it alongside the solution. Would help someone ending up here from a Google search only to be left wishing they knew the answer too...

In the drop down box at the top, with ALBUMS highlighted, I right clicked on albums and all my individual albums were listed so I’m good.
