iPod touch Problem with playlist order

New iPod Touch. I made a playlist containing about 20 albums/250 songs. When I add an album, iTunes shows everything in alphabetical order by band name, which is how I want it. But on the iPod, it displays in the order the songs were added to the iPod. I can't get the iPod to display the proper order. Anyone know the solution to this?
