I have the following:
Tiger - 10.4.2
QT Pro - 7.0.1
Flash MX Pro - 7.2
FLV Exporter - 1.2

In QT I'm attempting to export a .mov as a .flv. Every time I get a failure message:
Failed <10>

Any thoughts? I've re-installed the FLV exporter several times, no luck.

Thanks.

What UP!!!

What is flv. Do you have a converter. I found a free one on the net for some weird file type to convert it from .vbh (or something like that) to .mov.

FLV is Flash Video. I need to convert some movies to FLV so that I can play them in the Wimpy video player that I'm going to use on my site.

And yes, the converter came with Flash...it's just not working within QuickTime like it's supposed to.

Just in case anyone else has the same issue...

I think I've figured it out. The FLV exporter can't handle h.264 encoded movies. It worked fine with mpeg1 so I think it's a limitation of Flash.
