Hello,

First of all, it's about a MacBook Pro bought in 2010.
13.3"
4GB Ram
250 HDD
2.4ghz Intel DC

Well, here is the problem:

I want to reinstall mac os x snow leopard on my laptop. But, when I put in the first install disc (Official from Mac, not a copy) and press "restart" (Which should allow me to reinstall the software) a blue screen appears and freezes. I have been searching over the "interwebs" to see what the issue might be. I already tried holding down "shift" to start in safe mode - won't work. Or holding "c" to boot from cd - won't work. I'm assuming this is a software problem, that's why I post it on a forum. I still have warranty over this MBP so if it's a hardware problem, I'll probably return it to the shop where I bought it.

Note - When I try to install Windows with Bootcamp on my MBP, everything works beside when installing drivers - When I put in the disc it says the installation progress haven't been completed completely. Also I can't use the brightness buttons and the disk eject and sound buttons on the laptop. I thought maybe the disk trace is "broken" But I can still use it without a problem and even burn cd's or dvd's. The issue is not installing Windows, I'm just saying this so anyone who could help me knows this and might find the "relation" between these 2 issues.

I think it's a really "unique" problem, but if anyone has experience with this or has any solution, I'd love to hear it :) If you have any questions, I'll answer them :)

Thanks!
