Problem with ringtones on iphone 4

Hi guys this is the first time i have been on this forum, My wifes new iphone 4 has a problem. I can get ringtones that I have created though iringer onto her phone through itunes but when I set them to work they don't have any sound (like all the standed ringtones in the phone). Please help
