Problem with Safari and Google Maps

I browse craigslist.org all the time on safari.

It used to be that whenever I clicked on an address link in safari, it would open up the google maps application.

Now, however, it goes to another web page to view google maps in safari. I really hate this because I love using the google maps app.

Why is this happening and how can I make it stop!?
I would appreciate any help.
