Hoping someone can help with this. I am on the latest version of Lion (if that matters; it might) and Safari has always been my default browser and I have never had an issue like this before...

When I open Safari, even before I can get to any webpage (even if I am on a blank page) I get a pop-up error that says:

To view this page, you must log in to this area on mail.google.com:443
See screenshot below.

I've never had this happen before and I'm not even on a Google page or anything! Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated as I am baffled and can't get this pop-up to go away! I can't go to any webpage at all because of this (these seems like such a Windows thing to happen. WTF!?)

Never-mind, I think I got it sorted; I do have a gmail checker extension installed for Safari which never had an issue before, but apparently something is going on with Google's servers today causing this error... so I uninstalled the extension and it fixed the issue (for now at least.)
