trying to explain this:
in the old days, when I would do a screen capture (shift-command-4) it would automatically save the image to a designated folder, ie "screenshots." I would then go into that folder and rename the image file.
now, when I do a screen capture (shift-command-4), it puts a thumbnail version of the image on the screen. Then, I have to copy the image and open it in PREVIEW using the "new from clipboard" in the file menu.
This is do-able, but it's more than slightly annoying, now I have all these extra steps.
does anyone know how to fix this, so screenshot images are automatically saved to that folder?
(and I couild probably also use a new script to save these images to a new folder - below)
\Volumes\5TB_Portable\WF Stuff\WF Pictures [5TP]\screenshots [5TB]\FILENAME.JPG
thanks in advance as always!
