I'm trying to close the attached in Skype. The box is greyed out so I can't hang up or anything. So far I have tried the following.
Open Skype and then select Quit (also tried command Q)
Trying to log out of Skype (nothing happens)
Trying to restart my iMac (tells me to quit Skype first)
Any suggestions? Am I missing something obvious?

Is the call actually still in progress, or is it just that the box still appears on your screen? You could press the option key while right clicking on the Skype icon on your dock, then select force quit. You might also launch Activity Monitor and kill the Skype process from there.

It was just the window. Force quit worked from activity monitor. Still trying to get my head round a few old windows habits. I would just have used Control, Alt + delete to sort this out on my old PC!

Thanks GGJstudios! You're a legend as always!
