problem with smcfancontrol.

for about the last month every time i restart or shutdown my computer i have to reopen smc fan control. it used to automatically start after restart it would just be in my menu bar. does anyone else experience this? does anyone know how to fix this? thanks in advance. and i am running this on a 17" uni 2.66 10.5.7.

Click the MenuBar icon and go to Preferences. Click on the automatically start after login button.

ive always had that checked but it doesn't matter.

When you go into the Accounts preference pane under the Login Items for your account does smsFanControl show there?
