I played around a little bit with date & time -> open international -> formats, cause I wanted to change the clock from the am/pm system to a 24h system. I know by now that is was not the right place to change this stuff, I should have just changed it under date & time -> clock.

Anyway, my problem is now that Apple Mail shows me for every incoming and sent message the time 19:08 PM, so for some reason it does not use the actual time any more... The clock in the upper right corner still shows the right time. What can I do to fix this, is it possible to reset the clock settings?
Thanks

Yeah, that's why I was wondering. I switches the settings from "custom" to USA, now it is working again. But I still don't get why the custom settings are not working for me, maybe that's a bug.
Thanks for you help!
