Hello all!
I am having a weird, sudden problem with my Macbook Pro 2011.
I noticed that my "e" key does not function correctly. When pressed, nothing appears. However when I restart my computer, and the login screen appears, the password field will show "*************" which is basically full of the letter "e."
If I disable the login option, when I click on Safari, and click the URL Bar, it is replaced with "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee->.com." (The "e" goes on indefinitely until I click "CMD + A" to select all and delete.
Also, it seems that I am unable to perform any special commands during boot up of my computer. (Option+CMD+P+R, or boot with CD by holding C, or hold option to change drives).
I have formated my HD and reinstalled Snow Leopard (Had Lion previously, but used Snow Leopard as a reinstall), yet the problem persist. It seems "e" is the only key that has this problem.
Any advice? Thank you.
P.S. I typed this by Copying and Pasting an "e" whenever it was needed. Very tedious
