Ever since I updated the software from iOS 7 to iOS 8, I haven't been able to update my apps. I was hoping that updating the software from iOS 8.0.2 to 8.1 will cure the problem, but I'm still having the same issue. Anyone know how to fix this?

Have you tried doing a clean install (restoring as new)?

No I haven't. Will that work?
Hard to say, but if nothing else has worked it's worth a try. Although before that of course it's worth trying smaller things like restarting the phone, logging out and back in to the App Store, resetting network settings, resetting all settings, and perhaps then a clean restore if none of those work.

I was able to update the apps by connecting my iPhone to iTunes. Problem solved!
