The upgrade to Mojave 10.14.5 wiped out my desktop. plus it did the same to my documents. A first for me. Fortunately, nothing of great importance was lost, but it was a bit scary nonetheless. Be careful.

I Lost all items on my desktop as well as the contents of my documents. Fortunately, so important info lost, but it was a bit scary to see. Be careful.

this isn't a mojave issue, but a problem you've had. did you have desktop and documents in the cloud? are you signed in to icloud? and/or are you in your main account?...

are you using desktop & documents in the cloud? check your icloud settings. and is that the same as it was before?

EDIT: what's up? this is the SECOND post you've done on this forum about the same thing. and i offered the same advice. are you trying to solve the problem, or just post a bunch of times complaining about it??
