problem with visibility of files on external hard drives

Hey we have a problem with a files on hard drives. Some of the files added on to the hard drive from Mac OS 10.6.8 were visible and writable on this Mac but when opened on my Mac OS 10.8.2 they are not visible it is just blank space where the icon should be. Recently formatted 6.8 version has the files shown just white now without option to open and on the 8.2 version still blank. Two different hard drives same problem starting to think we need to install something on our Macs… before the Mac 6.8 was formatted and was able to work with all the files it had mac fuse installed and so the hard drives system NTFS was readable and writable but the fuse did not work on the 8.2 Mac. Now we can not add any files on any hard drive it is very frustrating :(
 
If it's NTFS it will not work for an OS X System on it, it needs to be HFS+ formatted, also, you can use a third party solution to read and write to an NTFS drive, by default OS X can only read NTFS formatted drives, use something like Paragon to get read/write access.
 
Thanks !! now I can work with the drive but the some of the files are still not visible on the drive.. but visible on the other Mac any suggestions?
 
It still doesn't show some of the files which are normally shown on other mac
