Problem with wallpaper 5K iMac

I have chosen a personal wallpaper for my iMac, but when i log out and log back in the wallpaper has been changed back to the one the iMac arrives with.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Where is the wallpaper located? If it's on an external drive that frequently gets disconnected this will tend to happen.

No.. you are not alone. Call in to Apple Support and complain as that seems to be the only way to get apple to recognize the MAJOR bugs that are inside of Yosemite.

I have the same thing, and I ended up having to re-install the OSx twice to get that fixed. it is working right for now, but I am not holding my breath.

Done both, this is my third 5K iMac. The first was working 100% until New Years eve when it just died, the second one didn't work right from the start.
