My iPhone backs up Whatsapp to iCloud, and it has always worked flawlessly.
Last week, I temporally disabled backup encryption. Since then, automatic unencrypted backups have been made daily without any problem.
However, I am not able to reenable encryption. When I try and create a password, I am forever stuck on the screen shown in the screenshot. No way to dismiss it, and so I am unable to use whatsapp like the message suggests.
Closing Whatsapp and opening it again solves this, but encryption is turned off again.

Anyone experiencing the same? And solutions? I restarted my iPhone a couple of times already, but to no avail.
Again: unencrypted backups work fine, but I am not able to turn on encryption again...
