I am trying to transition from using iPhoto to the new Photos App. I had previously set up iPhoto to open my RAW files automatically in Photoshop RAW when I double clicked on the RAW photo, but I cannot find any option to do so from the new Photos app. I have set my .jpgs to default open in Photoshop, but can't with RAW files. Am I missing something obvious? :(

THANKS!!!!!!

Unlike iPhoto Photos doesn't have an option to edit pictures in external editor. In El Capitan its possible but question is when its reliable enough to use. My guess is 10.11.3 or 10.11.4.

Given current Photos limitations my advice is to keep using iPhoto and wait 3-4 years to see if Apple improves Photos enough.

That's super bad news, because I have already updated to Yosemite which no longer supports/will open the older iPhoto app..........criminy.....thanks; i was hoping I was missing some obvious submenu option....
