hello you all,
I've recently found a problem with my 30" cinema display, but I don't think it's my monitor has a problem, don't get a clue, so post here to see if have any experienced an explanation:

Issue:
with some sapphire 280 /flashed 7950 only model with 3 points blanc / and MSI 280x dragon TF flashed mac card, I've flashed them in the same way with others, and i'm pretty sure they are not exotic cards, the 30" monitor shows only 1280x resolution maxi on hdmi and displayport video ports, dvi start with boot screen, then black screen before login, can't modify resolution from system preference

tried:
1, pram, doesn't change
2, change cables, doesn't solve the problem
3, connect to cinema display 27" and 23", all normal with no problem
4, change other flashed cards: 280/280X/7950/7970 on 30", no problem at all
5, change to original rom with 30", no problem at all
6, put back the card on pc, no problem neither

so any one can tell where the problem is?
many thanks
daniel

search from flash program side, updated to python latest version, but still found this while flashing:

OpRom (size=65536, indicator_offset=0x241, indicator=0x0, checksum=0x0)

OpRom (size=48128, indicator_offset=0x31, indicator=0x80, checksum=0x0)

RawData (size=17408)

Traceback (most recent call last):

File "fixrom.py", line 110, in <module>

op_rom.fix()

File "fixrom.py", line 90, in fix

self.data[-1] = chr(0x100 - sum)

ValueError: chr() arg not in range(256)

the last line has a error, what should cause this? other flash doesn't have this
