Problems Accessing Multicast from WMS

I cannot load my office's internal multicast file and need troubleshooting advice. Here's what I know: the multicast originates from a WMS with several different link possibilities with the following file extensions– asx, nsc and htm. None of these links, however, open anything regardless of whether opened from the browser or directly in QT or Real. The links work perfectly, however, in Windows Media on my PC. Please advise on possible issues and fixes.
