Hi to everyone, i'm new here and i'm glad to present myslef
As many, i am trying to install Windows 8 on my MBP. Shortly my problems are:
1) After having created a bootable USB with bootcamp with Windows 8 inside, this is not recognized at the startup
2) Otherwise if i start Windows 8 thanks to an external DVD writer (i replaced the SuperDrive with a caddy+HDD) and if i select the bootcamp partition in the list proposed by Windows 8, it will show this message of error: "we couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one".
After having read on some blog/forums about this error i understood that Windows 8 (and also 7) has to be installed only on a primary partition of the "master" disk. OSX, through the Disk Utility, says me that Bootcamp partition is in the "disk0" but to the contrary Windows 8 says me that it is on the "Disk 1" and then it refuse to continue the installation.
Anyone has the same problem and it has solved it? Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!
Filippo
