I have a 2012 Macbook pro which has performed absolutely flawlessly using Mavericks for many years. A couple of days ago i was forced to 'upgrade' to High Sierra (the latest OS that my computer will run) in order to run Skype. Since then I've had the following problems:
!. I have no copy and paste! This was temporarily resolved by a PRAM reset, and is occasionally temporarily resolved by quitting pboard in activitiy monitor. But mostly it just doesn't work.
2. If I try to move Desktop icons, they will snap to anopther location on the desktop, rather than where I put them. Presently, the view setting is on 'snap to grid'. I WANT them to snap to grid - but to the place I put them!
3. I'm having to login to Facebook everytime I restart the computer, which was not the case previously.
What can I do? Please help!
