Problems after Lion 10.7.5 update

I have a macbook pro running Lion and just recently accepted the software update to 10.7.5. After restarting I have experienced two problems that I am aware of.

1. Safari opens but nothing works. Blank browser screen. Won't go to any url.

2. Can't drag and drop anything

None of these issues existed before the update.

Help - please.

Also - reboot again.

For the Safari issue, see if any of the recommended steps here are applicable.

What/where are you dragging and dropping? Can you save files in the destination folder?
