Hello
My hard drive crashed so I went ahead and bought a new one and restored it via Time Machine, everything was a snap.
For the most part, almost everything is running smoothly but I've noticed some hiccups and I'm hoping for some help.
First, the archive utility won't open up. It bounces up and down on my dock but after a while, it just stops. Sometimes I get an error message. Quicktime bounces but doesn't open up either. I've tried running the software update and opening the app store but those won't work either. Aside from that, every thing else is running okay but it's a big pain since I need to use archive utility for something. If it helps, I get an error message now and then when trying to load Archive Utility (An unexpected error occurred (error code -10822).) This happens now and then, not all the time
When I run the activity monitor, archive utility shows up while QuickTime and the App Store do not. Any thoughts?
Should I wipe the drive and try to do another restoration? that seems drastic so I'm hoping for some easier and less time consuming options
