problems after watch update

I have the version 4 iWatch. Updated to 7 a couple days ago. Not only am I having battery issues I also cannot unlock my mac with my watch any longer. I did the unpair and repair but it did not help anything.

Did you also remove it from the Mac and re-add it? Also have you confirmed that they’re both on the same WiFi network?

I did check the network but I did not remove it from the mac at first

Same situation, same issue.
Paired/unpaired a couple of times,
Removed/re-added on the Mac as well
still not working, annoying..
