When i try to authorize ITunes on my Macbook Pro I get the following error "There was an error storing your authorization information on this computer' followed by "The required file was not found or has a permissions error. Correct this permissions problem and try again, or deauthorize this computer if the permissions cannot be changed."

iTunes has registered my iTunes store account and I can see the account information from within iTunes. The laptop is running Lion. I cannot deauthorize the laptop or enable home sharing as as i get the same error message. I only have 3 machines authorized. I have tried reinstalling iTines.

I figure there is a simple fix, i just don't know enough to get there. Please help
