so despite past probelms today i decided to partition and install xp pro. It went through all the steps to install windows, and at the end (for me at least) it would not recognise the XP cd. So i decided to scrap the whole idea, because i pretty much hate windows, and now that i ejected the CD, my mac comes to a creen which just say "No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key". Holding X on startup (to show different paritions) and the keystrokes to boot directly to OSX failed to have any effect. Is there any way to get by this screen and just delete this stupid parition. Im running a macbook pro.
