I am having some trouble burning cds lately!
If I try with itunes, it burns the whole cd, and then it stays in "finishing" mode for hours and hours and never actually finishes the cd (leaving the cd totally useless). I am forced to just turn the burner off.
I also have an old version of Toast, but it is not recognizing the burner...
Please help!

Thank you!

It sounds to me like you have an external CD burner that isn't fully supported by iTunes. Does your Mac have a (working) internal CD burner? If it does, try using that - if it works, you know the problem lies with the external burner you're using. I've heard of some software called Patchburn which might be of some use to you.

No, I don't have an internal CD burner... but my external one used to work with itunes and toast, so I don't know what has happened! :(
