Problems Burning Dual Layer DVD with MBP ?

I am trying to burn a Dual Layer DVD with my new MacBook Pro 15"
i have been using Toast Titanium 10.

( Brand : Memorex DVD +R DL 8x )

It keeps telling me Error after 5 minutes of burning!

What is wrong ?

Sorry, but the screen shots were not helping as they just consisted of coloured areas with stripes.

Have you tried another brand?

We have sometimes the same issue, which we now countered by using a specific brand, which will seldom give us errors.

yeah, it might be the Brand, Memorex.

Funny. Now i tried a SONY DVD +DL and it worked fine.
I guess it was the Brand Memorex that it didn't like...

I have had problems with the Memorex DVD's as well so I don't use the brand. All others I've purchased like Verbatim and TDK and the lighscribe discs from HP work just fine you're better off using those Memorex DVD's as fuel for a camp fire, or take them skeet shooting when you run out of clay pidgeons.

i have only used sony and verbatims' in my MBP. I have always had luck with Maxell and TDKs as well in the past.
