I keep my iTunes library and Time Machine on a disk shared by an Airport Extreme. My issue is that when I am away from home I get "there were problems connecting to server [name of my APEBS]" messages, even when iTunes is closed and Time Machine is turned off.

Any idea what would be causing this? I assume that it is trying to find the shared drive, but I'm not on my network, so it can't. But what is triggering the connection attempt? The frequency which they show up also seems to be random. Anyway, any insight would be appreciated.
