Hello everyone-
I had to reset my base station- original graphite airport. I had no problem resetting and then using a crossover ethernet cable to reload software to the base station. I have a PowerBook Fire Wire G3 and a IBook Clamshell G3. Each see the base station in the Airport window and they both say connected to internet. But, I can't get on the internet. Whenever I open Netscape it won't go to the my homepage and there's an error with connection. I have Comcast cable. When I had DSL, I had no problem with the Airport and getting it working. What am I missing?

Also, I have spent 2 days reading forums on how to trouble shoot this. I keep hearing about routers... I have no idea what they are. Do I need a router for cable internet? I didn't need one for DSL....
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
