I have an AEBS:n (non-Gigabit model) with a HDD and printer connected to it. My MBP connects perfectly to it and I have access to the HDD and printer with no problems (I don't seem to get the Airdisk issues that people seem to have, though I don't use it that often). My roommate has a Dell desktop that's connected to the AEBS via Ethernet that gives him access to the printer and an internet connection (though not the HDD, which is a separate issue).
The problem is with his IBM Thinkpad running XP. He cannot connect to my wi-fi network if I have any security enabled on the AEBS, nor can he connect to it if I turn off the SSID broadcast (it's added as a network in his wireless settings, so it should auto-connect but it doesn't). If I leave the network open and broadcast the SSID, he can connect with no problems. However the moment I enable any security (WEP or WPA) he can't connect. It says that it's connecting but just continues to show the "connecting" window until it eventually times out and says it can't connect. We've been working on this for a while now and neither of us can figure out what the deal is. Anybody know what the deal is?
Edit: doh, I hate when I mis-type thread titles.
