Entering the serial number of my MacBook Pro into the support page on the Apple web site gives an incorrect purchase date.

I have followed the instructions on how to update the date and now need to fax my receipt to Apple.

The number they have given me is 916 399 7338, on the fax cover page I have downloaded it also gives 916 399 7337. I have tried faxing both these numbers from the UK, using the international dialling prefix 001 and cannot get the fax to go through.

I have phoned the numbers, the 7337 one gives a message saying it is currently unavailable and the 7338 one just cuts out. On the email Apple sent me there is a link to support phone numbers which also doesn't work!

Can anyone help me?
